Lara Francis, née Rosenthal, has joined Legal IT Insider as senior account manager, helping legal technology businesses globally to promote their brand. For nearly a decade Lara worked with vendors in the legal technology space at Legal Week and ALM (following its acquisition of Legal Week.) She specialised in account management of the Top 100 law firms and was a part of the leadership team for Legal Week’s hugely popular Strategic Technology Forum, both in Europe and the USA.
Lara has years of experience helping companies to increase their visibility, having spent her entire career selling advertising space, reports and event sponsorship to various businesses in the financial and legal sectors, from start-ups to the most established corporates. She started out as a new business sales manager at digital media company Incisive Media before moving to information services provider Informa. She became head of sales at media services provider FENS Information, before joining Legal Week in March 2014.
Commenting on her new role, Lara said: “Legal tech is transforming the legal landscape, making services more efficient and accessible. As technology continues to evolve, its role in the legal sector offers both new opportunities and challenges for legal professionals.
