Brits have been left gobsmacked by the culinary delights served up at McDonald’s in Tenerife, Spain.
A recent TikTok post by user @theknightstrider1, who resides in Tenerife, offers a tantalising glimpse into the local McDonald’s offerings.
The breakfast menu has sweet indulgences such as “McDalena” muffins in two scrumptious flavours, alongside “Mini Cronuts” (an exquisite hybrid of French pastry and donut) and delectable “McPops” mini donuts brimming with assorted fillings. Not forgetting the familiar sausage and bacon McMuffin selections.
Dessert-wise, the menu boasts tempting Milkybar and Biscoff McFlurries, along with an array of daringly new “mad cool” flavours, as well as ice cream sundaes.
The beloved McRib, absent from British shores since 2015, stars as a “new” offering on the main menu. And this week McDonald’s finally confirmed it would be returning once again!
The TikToker went on to say that the “Triple Chicken Mayo” is popular with British holidaymakers in Tenerife. It’s a classic chicken mayo with triple the chicken.
There was one particular menu option at the Tenerife McDonald’s Spain that caused quite a stir in the comments section, as one viewer exclaimed: “Omg the McRib, bring it back to the UK McDonald’s.” Little did they know, McDonald’s would make the announcement just days after their comment was posted!
However, the excitement didn’t stop there, with other fast-food aficionados sharing their experiences. One comment read: “Omg the mcpops are amazing.” And another person said: “Miss the sundae ice creams.”
Some suggested that even familiar menu items taste better in Tenerife, with another commenter writing: “Had the sausage McMuffin when I went and I thought it was sooo much nicer than the ones in the UK, so much fresher not greasy… shame they don’t do hash browns just had wedges instead.”
